Like Math? Like math enough to play math games on your iPhone? Well warm up with some Brain Tuner, and then once you get bored with the baby-quations, put on your big boy pants and try Number Line. I'm not saying it's better, but it's definitely more challenging.
It's the same idea - do a bunch of math problems as fast as you can - but it's not about labeling equations as right or wrong. Number Line asks you to place a set of decimals and fractions in order on a, um, number line. You can try all you want to blow through 'em in a hurry, but you're gonna have to slow down and think. Which is larger, 3/7 or .45?
Yeah, I don't know either.
Although I'm not as competitive about Number Line as I was about Brain Tuner, I place it in a different category altogether. This one seems like it would be great for kids who are learning about fractions and decimals, and Brain Tuner is a mental speed test for people who already know what 2 + 2 is. In any case, both of them must be better for your brain than another round of Peggle.
