Eliss is one of the most visually, aurally and tactilely stimulating games that I’ve come across for the iPhone. Beautiful images, pleasant sounds and fast-paced multi-touch action all work together in perfect harmony to create a dynamic experience you won’t find in any other choice at the App Store.
Think rapid-fire, non-stop Big Bang Theory. Celestial bodies of all the pastel colors emerge from nothingness in the galaxy that is your iPhone screen, and your job as master of the universe is to create supernova after supernova by joining together planets, splitting them apart and guiding them to settle into a squeesar of the right fit. Don’t let planets of different colors touch, or you’ll lose energy.
Each of Eliss’ 25 sectors is more challenging than the one before it, so stay on your toes (you may want to use them to help your fingers as the game progresses). It’s definitely not easy, but stick with it and you’ll improve quickly. Check out a video of gameplay here.
