You’ll never make it around those delicate corners and hairpin turns without some sincere caution.
Forget the monkey in a ball, the iPhone’s accelerometer is the star of this game. You’ll be tilting it in every direction, doing everything you can to keep your monkey from plunging into the sea.
You’re going to hate this game the first 20 times you play it – there’s no doubt about it. But when you finally get it, when you finally figure out that it’s all about tiny movements and it’s futile to attempt to regain homeostasis once you’ve lost it, then you can enjoy yourself.
And there’s plenty to enjoy. Sega gives you more than 100 stages to monkey around with, enough to frustrate you for the next three years, at least.
So pop a few Dramamine in your banana hole and hang on, it’s gonna be a wild ride.
