Sway is, without a doubt, the best game I've come across for the iPhone.
Since I downloaded it from the App Store, I've been playing it non-stop. Its 3-D graphics look absolutely awesome, but that's not what keeps me coming back; it's just a joy to play.
Picture one of those portable rock climbing walls, the ones you see at festivals and trendy gyms. Add to it some of the cutest comic book animals you've ever seen and a goofy island soundtrack. Don't forget a pinch of the most satisfying controls imaginable for a handheld game.
Each of your thumbs controls one of your character's hands, which you swing back and forth like a pendulum to toss him across the screen. The more momentum you create, the farther he'll fly. The rest of his body is about as responsive as a hangdoll, but the hands are all you need to motor across each board and find the goal.
Once you get a feel for the controls, it's all over. You'll never be comfortable unless you're swinging around like an orangutan, reaching out for the next thing to grab onto. Sway will cost you five bucks, but you'll get your money's worth - trust me.
